DR. MARK. MAYFIELD

Dr. Mark Mayfield is a licensed professional counselor, educator, and award-winning author with extensive experience in mental and emotional health.

As a former pastor and a recognized leader in the mental health field, Mark has dedicated his career to helping individuals, families, schools, and organizations navigate emotional challenges with clarity and confidence.

Mark is the founder of No Student Unseen, an initiative providing schools with practical mental health systems through the Stop Light Alert for Mental and Emotional Wellness system.

He also serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University and partners with the AACC as the Director of Practice and Ministry Development and Editor of Marriage & Family: A Christian Journal.

At Mental Health Made Simple, Mark’s mission is to break down complex mental health concepts into accessible, actionable insights that empower individuals to care for their emotional wellness, build resilience, and take small, confident steps forward.
